For Check Point, the world leader in Internet security software, Codaf is more than just a printer; Codaf is a partner that takes care of all the logistics needs including product-configuration management, labeling, warehousing, kitting, packaging, shipping and of course … printing. This entire logistics undertaking, with the distribution of over 2000 products to over 3000 locations in more than 100 languages, is handled worry-free by Codaf. This is what we call “taking care of business”.

The beginning – a small start up
Check Point started working with Codaf in 1996. Back then, Check Point was a small and promising start up with few sales.
Check point needed a reliable partner who, on the one hand, had the required knowledge and experience suitable for worldwide operations, and on the other hand could respond quickly and handle small quantities in short notice. Codaf was a natural choice. Our just-in-time capabilities and digital printing options answered Check Point’s early need to print and ship just a small quantity of manuals at a time. Each time Check Point needed to print a few additional copies, we re-printed the digitally archived files and handled everything – from quality assurance to delivery, saving Check Point costs and time-to-market.
Later on, when Check Point decided to market its products in software packages, our graphic design and packaging experts designed and produced product kits that incorporated the company’s brand image in a solution that met Check Point’s logistics and marketing requirements.

Planning a logistics infrastructure
When Check Point’s global business grew worldwide, the company needed logistic backing. Codaf, together with Check Point, planned the logistics strategies and processes that would ensure highly efficient and cost-effective operations.
Check Point asked us to find a solution for product-configuration management, the management of production and stock, as well as worldwide distribution directly from Codaf’s facilities. Codaf advised Check Point on overall fulfillment, and shared with Check Point its experience in bar-coding and labeling.
